Fast-track your driving licence with Bristol & Bath Intensive Courses.
We offer structured 5-day and 7-day intensive courses, typically running Monday to Friday. For the 7-day course, two additional days are reserved for your driving test and final preparations.
1:1 Tuition – No Car Sharing
You’ll be assigned a DVSA-approved local instructor who will work with you throughout the week. All practical training is on a one-to-one basis.
Daily Reflective Sessions
Each day starts with a short review and goal-setting session where you and your instructor agree on the day’s driving objectives to help maximise progress.
End-of-Day Debriefing
After each session, your instructor will review your development and prepare you for the following day.
Theory Test Support
We’ll arrange your theory test in advance, and if needed, provide continued training until you pass.
Practical Test Booking
Once you’re test-ready, we’ll help you book your practical driving test via the official DVSA Business Booking Service — not third-party sites.
Instructor & Car Secured for Test
Your instructor and car will be pre-arranged and confirmed for the day of your test.
Due to DVSA waiting times, a practical test may not take place immediately after the course. However, we will book the earliest available date that suits your readiness and instructor availability.
Where possible, we will help fast-track your test by monitoring cancellations — provided your instructor confirms you’re safe and at test standard.
Most people learn to drive the long way — taking weekly lessons stretched over many months.
We believe there’s a faster way.
Our intensive driving courses are designed to help you complete both the practical and theory syllabus efficiently and confidently.
All of our instructors are DVSA-approved and highly experienced in delivering structured, focused training to help you make the most of every lesson.
💡 Note: A £75 DVSA practical test fee will be payable once you’ve passed your theory test (unless already included in your course package).
Use of the instructor’s car for your first practical test is complimentary.
We have a fantastic team of Approved Driving instructors who specialise in providing intensive courses. Both male and female instructors are available, all of which, use modern, reliable vehicles.
If you take weekly lessons it could take you well over a year to pass your driving test if not longer.
No – we’ve never claimed to offer instant driving tests. DVSA waiting times can be as long as 18 months in some areas, and no company can guarantee an immediate slot.
However, our experienced team checks the DVSA system regularly and, in most cases, we can find a cancellation test sooner than the standard waiting list — often faster than learners can find themselves. While we can’t promise exact dates, we will always do our best to secure you an earlier test once you’re ready.
Our 5-day course is ideal for learners with some prior experience who want to fast-track their progress. It’s intensive and focused, helping many pupils get test-ready quickly — though some may still need additional lessons afterward depending on their individual progress.
Our 7-day course is designed especially for new drivers or those with little experience. It allows more time behind the wheel and builds skills more gradually across the week. While some learners do reach test standard in this time, others may benefit from continued practice or follow-up lessons before taking their driving test.
In both cases, the goal is to give you the best possible start — boosting your driving ability and confidence with focused 1:1 tuition. Everyone learns differently, but by the end of your course, you’ll have made significant progress and have a clear path toward passing.
While it’s impossible for any provider to promise a test pass, what we can guarantee is that by the end of your course, you’ll be a noticeably more confident, safer, and more capable driver than when you began.
Our Intensive Courses are a powerful way to quickly gain driving experience and boost your confidence behind the wheel. With focused, one-to-one tuition, you’ll develop control and road awareness in a matter of days – progress that would typically take months with weekly lessons.
Not at all. You now know how to drive! Our advice will always be to keep practicing with mum or dad or a friend until your driving test, and keep building on the skills you have been taught, it is a lifetime skill.
You can request to reschedule your course as long as it’s more than four weeks before your original start date. This is because we contract a private driving instructor specifically for your course, and we are committed to providing them with notice.
In rare cases, we may need to reschedule your course due to operational reasons or instructor availability. If that happens, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer suitable alternative dates. We always aim to minimise disruption and ensure your course is delivered promptly and professionally.
Once confirmed, courses are guaranteed to go ahead unless affected by circumstances beyond our control.
Driving tests are managed and released by the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), not by us or any driving school. Test availability depends on when and where the DVSA release appointments — we have no control over this and cannot guarantee a test slot at the end of your course.
However, we understand that fast progress is important. Our team actively checks the DVSA system and works hard to find you an earlier test date — often significantly quicker than the standard waiting times. If you’re flexible on location and willing to travel, we can usually find a test even sooner.
Our goal is to match you with a test date as quickly as possible, once you’re at the required standard and a car and instructor are available.
You absolutely you can, but our contract is with the student regardless of who pays for the course so to be able to discuss the personal details of the course and the students’ progress or any issues simply, have the course student contact us in writing to give us permission to talk with you. Please understand that anyone could be claiming to be the parent or partner of the student and privacy is very important to us so we must go through security protocols and ask for the booking reference number amongst other individual ID’s
If you’re unsuccessful on your driving test, you have two options:
Take advantage of our free corrective training (subject to availability and discretion). We’ll focus on the areas that caused the fail and help you prepare for a retest when both you and your instructor feel you’re ready.
Book a new driving test immediately and continue preparing independently or with additional lessons if you wish.
Please note: You can choose one of these options, but not both at the same time.
