Bristol A4174 Ring Road
The ring road in Bristol can be the source of a lot of driving test failures and this route is included in the MPTC Warmley test centre.
Recently a lot of changes have been made the the A4174 to help improve traffic flow.
Our Bristol Driving Instructors will make sure that the ring road is included on your driving course where possible to help best prepare you.
If you want to give yourself an extra chance then why not try asking a friend to take you down there in your car so you can familiarise yourself with the roundabouts and lanes? When you feel confident perhaps you can direct them to see if you are doing it correctly.
You can also ask your driving instructor to drive and film the route and lanes done correctly from the passenger seat so you can replay this later when you are at home.
always remember to plan ahead. Slow down early to give yourself time to read the road signs, road markings and select the appropriate lanes. You will typically exit a roundabout in the left hand lane unless road markings dictate otherwise.
