That depends on your prior experience, confidence and how quickly you progress.

Our 5-day course is typically suited to learners with previous driving experience, while the 7-day course allows more time for those who are newer to driving.

Many pupils do reach test standard within their course week. Others may require additional lessons before taking their practical test.

Your instructor will always advise you honestly on readiness to ensure you take your test at the right time.

Practical test dates are controlled entirely by the DVSA and availability varies by location.

Our aim is to align your test as closely as possible with your course completion, where availability allows. Test timing depends on DVSA release patterns and your flexibility.

A practical test is arranged once your instructor confirms you are fully test-ready, subject to DVSA availability.

Driving skills are built through structured training and practice. After completing your course, we recommend continuing to practise where possible to maintain confidence and consistency until your test.

Your instructor can also advise if any refresher lessons would be beneficial closer to your test date.

If you’re unsuccessful on your driving test, you have two options:

1. Take advantage of our free corrective training (subject to availability and discretion). We’ll focus on the areas that caused the fail and help you prepare for a retest when both you and your instructor feel you’re ready.

2. Book a new driving test immediately and continue preparing independently or with additional lessons if you wish.

5-Day Intensive Course

Best suited to learners who already have some driving experience and a solid understanding of basic skills. This option helps you focus and progress quickly with structured, daily tuition.

7-Day Intensive Course

Ideal if you are newer to driving or prefer a little more time to build confidence and skills throughout the week.

Your instructor will always assess your individual progress and advise you on readiness for your practical test.
